In 2017 I learned of the Biewer Terrier. Their beautiful silk drop coats and parti colors had me at hello! The Biewer Terrier is the best of everything I was searching for in a breed--sweet and spunky companion animals, small in size and always ready for the next adventure.
My biewer terrier dams live in my home with me. Actually, who am I kidding? I get to live with them!
I selectively imported my foundation lines and then rigorously health tested and began their AKC show careers. While some love the conformation ring, others some move on to companion or performance sports. And some enjoy couch potato life!
All of the Biewer Terrier sires in my kennel are the result of selective, planned breedings.
While they are frequently guests in my home, they typically are either co-owned or in guardian homes, This way they get to have a family all to themselves and be pampered in a home with one or two dogs. And, they are still part of my show and breeding program.
The Biewer Terrier we know today originated in Germany in the 1984.
The breed has been known in the USA for just over 20 years and earned full AKC recognition in the Toy Group in 2021.
Junior Showmanship is the future of the fancy.
Promoting a new breed, I am lucky enough to have juniors in the local area showing Biewer Terriers. You will often see them handling my dogs as well as their own toy dogs. They love to have fun in the ring and are doing great work with their dogs.
I am passionate about pet health; raising litters as naturally and holistically as possible.
Clean nutrition is essential to the long term health of your biewer terrier. I have prepared a starter guide for new pet owners and also have links to many of my favorite products.
I breed a limited number Biewer Terrier litters each year, always looking to improve upon the best traits of the dogs. Puppies are reserved quickly, so reach out to inquire about future litters today.
